He played like he never left the game, making unbelievable shots from the fairway and putting in for birdie, and he also made a couple eagle putts. Tiger had a wonderful first round of golf. The crowd response might have been a concern for him before he tee off for the first time. But the crowd quickly drowned out his anxieties with a thunderous roar after hearing his name called. The fans missed Tiger. Sex scandal or no sex scandal, Tiger makes the game entertaining. If Tiger had decided not to play, rating would have fell considerably. Virtually no one would have watched the Masters if Tiger did not play.
